A note from the photographer:

Some of my earliest memories include my extended family all gathered in our home for celebrations, and my grandparents pulling out their disposable cameras—and of course the good ol’ point-and-shoot—to capture our life & memories. I cherish those photos, as they preserve a part of my history that might otherwise be forgotten.

Here’s one of my favorite photos of my grandma and great-grandma taking a photo of each other—I can still hear us all laughing over this one :)

I am a firm believer in the power of new experiences that push & challenge you, and the value of humanity. This has led me to pursue many incredible creative opportunities that have deepened my love for culture, the world, and all of the unique stories in it. This guides & helps me grow in my ability to tell stories in an honest way—in part through the lens of my camera.
